Synopsis

Jose Maria is a construction worker whereas Rosa is the housekeeper. They are South American immigrants working in Spain and have recently become a couple. A sudden retreat results in a vacant home, allowing Jose Maria to spend a few days alongside Rosa, unconstrained in a mansion wherein she fantasizes in the quintessential shared life. Jose Maria has a volatile nature and a sudden dispute sparks a hostile physical confrontation, leaving him distraught.

Sebastian Cordero has Ecuatorian nationality. Graduate from UCLA. His first film, Ratas, Ratones y Rateros participated at the Venice Film Festival, Toronto, San Sebastian, Buenos Aires, Huelva and La Habana. His second film, Cronicas, won the Sundance/NHK International Filmmakers Award, was presented in the Cannes Festival segment Un Certain Regard, and was the winner of best Ibero-American film at Guadalajara Film Festival. Rabia is produced by the Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro.
